Boats in high winds

The club wayler and a dinghy are having a hard time of it in the heavy winds. We had to string a line across both finger docks to save the wayler and pump it out. 
The anchor rode was too short on the wayler. My j24 looks ok on the breakwall but as I did have one line already chafe through on the swing moorings, I still don’t trust my tying capabilities.
